CT Black Women was founded in 2019  by Pamela Selders who called together 5 passionate and powerful Black Women to do the work of racial justice and Black liberation for Black women and girls.

We are Black women of conscience working together in supporting and building ourselves and our community through activism, advocacy, education and creativity.

Our Founder – Pamela Selders

Pamela Selders is an organizer, advocate and activist.

She is founder and visionary of CT Black Women (CTBW), a grassroot community-based organization that calls Black women leaders together to support one another and build power through organizing, activism, advocacy, education and creativity.

Pamela is co-founder of Moral Monday CT, a statewide Connecticut-based racial/social justice coalition of people of faith and conscious.
